Hi there. I've been foiling about 3 weeks and have a board/foil tweak question. My back leg is on fire when I ride toeside. My front strap is all the way forward per slingshot's recommendations. My ss hydroglide foil is set on 2cm up from the back. No back strap but I always have my back foot right where the forward foot strap would be on a dwarf craft. Not sure if the next tweak should be to take the front strap back one screw setting to the #2 hole position (the #1 being the farthest forward) or moving the mast up another 1-2cm?
I don't move my back foot when jibing back and forth from heelside/toeside.
Hoping some foiler can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

Have you tried riding with the back foot further back?

Either what Sonny said (if you're comfortable with this "new" stance) or move the mast forward. How does it feel when riding normal? Do you have to put to much pressure in the back foot? It has to be balanced.

Re: Foil Board Tweaking
I would remove your straps until you get the board and foil placement the way you like it. 1) Then try like Sonny said and try to move your rear foot back to get more leverage/pressure.
2) Try to move your front foot back to relieve pressure on your rear foot.
3) Gradually move your foil forward to get a balanced rear foot pressure.
On my older foil, the foil placement is fixed, so I experimented with adjusting the aoa of the rear foil.
