Most comprehensive wave riding tutorial out there

Post by akhodakivskiy » Thu Jun 25, 2015 10:45 am

I recently stumbled upon this amazing series of videos for those of us who dream about shredding some waves. The videos are great because they describe all basic skills and their progression necessary to get on top of the wave.

Awesome find here! I'm actually practicing most of part 1-4 + down/kite loops strapless, but having step by step guide is awesome! Thanks.
Good-bye... and hello... as always!

Amazing series. I wonder if they got funding from Slingshot because this is a great way to advertise your brand.

So I must say that after watching this video I've been working on my technique "at my local" spot - i.e. not in breaking waves - for the past few weeks.

I just started an month long trip to Oregon and my first stop yesterday was Manzanita blowing high 20s reaching 30mph with chest to head high waves.

At first I was a bit hesitant but throughout the session I really progressed an by the end of it was slashing and top turning like a pro. Well of course not but it felt like it!

Highly recommend if you're thinking to get into waves to study this video every night and practice.

I even must agree sending spray on a top turn is way more satisfying than I would ever have imagined.

Get your stoke on with these vids!
