Destination Ideas for July?

Post by Red_Element_Andy » Mon Apr 13, 2015 9:25 am

Planning a 1-month, post-grad school, kiteboarding trip for this summer. Very fortunate to have already kite-adventured in Brazil, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Vietnam, and Hawaii.

Any recommendations for awesome kite destinations in July? This is my last 'long' vacation in the foreseeable future, so hoping to take advantage of this window to check a spot off of the kite-bucket-list that might otherwise be too remote for a 1-week trip.

Currently looking at Indo, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritius ... XZSD

Watch the F-one travel videos here:

You seem to be looking for something more exotic but consider a staycation in the Gorge/Hood River/OR coast.

Haha. Ok, more seriously, like jjm said.
Also, you might get more help if you tell us what you are looking for.
Waves? Flats? Kickers?
A place that you can do water activities if there is now wind? Or just touristy stuff?
"kiteworld" magazine publishes every year a small guide of kite locations all around the world. I'm sure you can find a way to check it out online. That would be a great base to start from.
Cheers. SS$$
