Waste of time! I've been attending this swap for the last four years in a row. It's predominately a windsurfing swap. The turn-out of kiters is so feeble, that it's not worth the time and hassle to attend anymore. Sadly I wish this wasn't the case. I really wish we had a swap event like this specifically for us kiters. Selling gear via kite classifieds, CL and Ebay can be such a pain. I much prefer meeting and greeting potential buyers in person.

The SWAP at Crissy is GREAT and I have seen many sweet deals go down on Kite gear.

The reason you don't see kiters at swap meet anymore is because only the sellers showed up in the past.

Several years ago I'd agree with you. Maybe this year will be better, but I seriously doubt it. Do you have any suggestions on how we could make this swap better for attendance for both sellers and buyers? The Crissy swap has a lot of potential imo, but something needs to be updated or improved.

You called it!!! How can we fix it? Can it be fixed? Are swaps dead now because of the internet?

I think the problem is not just the internet but too much supply.
