Looks like Thursday will be apocalyptic at the coast in the morning. If somebody does go out, get it on video :)

Have my 5 meter ready for Thursday, but am worried about lightning and hail predictions. I guess its a wait and see call for Thursday morning

Put a key on your kite string and it will be safe to fly during a lightning storm

I thought Mythbusters debunked Ben Franklin, that he was full of it and did not really flew the kite, he would have been fried shocked barbecued holding the kite string as it got struck by lightning

Looks like the wind is starting to taper off. USS Hornet sensor is slowing down

I kited in alameda 945 to 10. The wind comes and goes: 6 to 18
