Alameda gustiness

Alameda was fun on Thursday but later on there were big holes.
I wonder if the jets taking off out of OAK are sending turbulent air towards the beach causing holes? I would think it was too chilly for thermal bubbles. At 3rd you can smell the exhaust somtimes so you are definitely getting some of that air, it's a matter of how much.
Watch out for those jumbo jets and airbuses!

It's caused by the fog rolling in.

It was already foggy at that time.
Anyway, what about Alameda's fog rolling in would be different to make it holey?
I guess it just goes to show "no man knows the way of the wind" as the saying goes.
