I respected the Ban when i kited MB and i will continue to as i kite there in the future... i read about it and was well aware, the BAK post was a success... for me.

Its still BS imo.. its like Larkspur. They banned the marsh launch a few years ago cause its a "protected" sensitive habitat for ??birds?? idk, fish? Seals? a snake and a rabbit? They made the kiters launch off the jetty which is small, uneven raised abandoned road, and basically a shitty ass POS launch. All for what? they didn't want us trailblazing through the marsh (WHERE THERE IS ALREADY A TRAIL) MY POINT: is that they (us americans) have completely fucking destroyed the habitat, its totally polluted with sewage, ferry boat gasoline, chemical runoff, and 100 years of human destruction... and since our kites are visible from miles away we get called in by some fat-ass american driving down the highway in his smog polluting SUV.

I support the environmentalist but stand my my opinion that their effort would be better rewarded elsewhere than getting all huffed and puffed over some eco-friendly kiters...
