If you see me on the beach, with a big lens waving at you, come up and do a slow stylish trick (stalled grabs look good, if you have passes nailed, do a simple one, smiles, peace signs, etc.)
I'll try to get someone to give me a boat/jet ski ride in the late afternoon as well.

I was already impressed with the nice Canon gear when we were chatting in the lot, but I have to say your shots are really good. The shots captured and quality are top tier, among the best I've seen from our spots. Very nice, looking forward to more soon.

Club Sherman PARTY??? (questions)
When IS the party??? This weekend is the Nationals races... that doesn't seen good-
Who's in charge??? I was surprised to hear Mina and Bob were not included in planning, communication is KEY in maintaining good relationships---
What's the plan??? When does it start, when does it end..
Who's in charge of CLEAN UP???? In the past Maui Mike has done much of the PARKING LOT clean up himself (at 6:00 am because he dosn't want bum-out Bob & Mina with EXTRA WORK), lets see if this time everything can be taken care of by volunteers- (BEFORE Mike, Bob and Mina even wake up) Plenty of EXTRA TRASH CANS/BAGS will make light work of clean up-
I have a bunch of cardboard boxes and bags I'll bring so I'll cover trash supplies-
I've also got a projector and screen (Mac and PC ready) but No GEN-SET, can someoone provide a small EC protected unit for Video ONLY??

It's this weekend. Maui Mike and I have already talked to Mina.
Everything is fine and taken care of, clean up plan is in place. There's nothing to worry about...

Re: Club Sherman PARTY??? (questions)
Well, it's not ideal but the thing is, when it comes to many race events, it's kind of an insular deal, hardly any race info is posted here, it tends to often remain within the race community or at Crissy.Loscocco wrote:Yeah too bad its the same weekend as the Nationals :(
What I'm getting to is that in coordinating the bbq/party event with Mike, we came up with some possible dates that work well for both of us and 7/21 was chosen. Neither of us knew about the nationals, we posted the info here on 6/30 and didn't even know about the Nationals until a week ago...I guess two weeks later...
But, our #1 choice for the party MC, Chip Wasson, knows the value of a good party, especially Club Sherman (JLOT), so he hopes to try and get a crew going to come up for the party and if anyone can make that happen, he will...my suggestion would be for the half dozen or so racers who would likely come were it not for the race to just come anyway.

The bags and boxes will be very helpful for sure.Greg wrote:I have a bunch of cardboard boxes and bags I'll bring so I'll cover trash supplies-

As far as power, there will be numerous generators going so should be OK. Suave has a projector, but no screen, we should figure out who's doing what and what is needed...
