Olli,

sorry I think this discussion should stay in the standard forum. I dont see any sense to lock out part of the public? May be it is better to close the thread in the current state and allow clarification for predefined one or two days. Then open it up with the two oppose statements.

Public interest for kiting, thats what your site is for! Lets help each other to sort out this problem, but in open public. K

Knyfe,

What you and others have pointed out is right, the thread has been moved back to it's original forum. Sorry about the confusion, it seemed to fit in the Alameda forum, but is best left in the General Forum.

My bad,
Ollie

There might be more to this than a turf battle betweekn Boardsports and KWS. I mentioned this incident to a friend who works for EBRP (back office) and he said that the supervisor for Crown Beach doesn't like Jeff.

Seems logical that it would take someone with authority (and not just Boardsports) to be able to get all of the EBRP police resources out to arrest someone for giving windsurfing lessons.

Olli, THNX !

to the others: Come on, thats not the place for mud-wrestling ... who likes who ... be fair to each other to keep the thread open for real clarification.

Q1: Does anyone know if (and if so, why) KWS was denied the oportunity to bid on the beach concession?

Q2: In addition to sailing lessons, are there others using or transiting these waters and airspace for commercial puposes? (Fishing? Tours? Public transport/ferry? Shipping? etc)
