Hey guys,
If you have any insights for the coast to go this weekend let us know.
We want to test the new Wave OFF we just received

Worst comes to worst we will even try them in light winds at Rio!

That's a good observation however it works exactly the opposite.
With this shape you should be able to get less skatey and more curving type of performance when hitting the wave.

BTW these are the boards that Martin Vari is using in the Space Monkey 2 movie, now available in production.

I can't give you my own experience on them though since I haven't tried them yet.

Cheers,
Evan

pretty easy to get around on, and very slashy....fun even in the little river swell...forgiving when gibing...I would like to try it without the straps, as it has a very intuitive feel. Rides nice toeside, and even rode fakie a bit.

I guess the best thing is that this old body gets tired trying to keep up with my kid with new moves, and I get punished some since I like to try and sky a bit and occasionaly blow my rotations.....to go out and be challenged with footwork and slashing waves is pretty rewarding. Some time on the skim board helps, but you use your feet to carve, instead of pop.

I used to have a naish mutuant 5' 5" when I was learning, and this is much looser, as well as easier to move around on...no more word until I get into some real waves...
