You don't want to go under bridge in north winds; huge wind shadows.

Yes please if anyone is going to Crissy please limit how far north and west you ride.. Do not try to do the bridge the headlands will creating gnarst wind shadows
Stay near shore, try and give the right of way to locals who look out for the safety of the guest appearance kiters who come to visit, be respectful and please ask questions if you have any
Please do not self-land kites on any kids building sand castles or any doggies playing. Also be friendly to tourists and lay down your best Blue Steel & Magnum for them when they take pictures--remember you will forever be a memory of their San Francisco experience so be good hosts and help make it a good one

I can't wait for Chrissy! I only have a 12M and tt, so hopefully that will be ok. Also, where is Anita Rock? I can't find it on the map.

Coast is looking good! Waddell is averaging 19!
Lull of 2, gusting to 33... [-X
Anyone who is attempting to kite in these winds, remember to take a close look at the highs and lows, not just the average on the Ikite map! Remember, 1 to 50 is an average of 26 but is NOT KITEABLE!
Chrissy is directly onshore in these conditions, and 33 mph gust coming after a giant lull could easily loft someone well into the parking lot...a second gust and you are an unplanned exhibit on the outside wall of the Exploratorium...

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.

Don't know....seems a little freaky for me. Gust/lull ratio mighty high.
What do you rig? Whatever it is you better be quick with the depower.
2kts: kite drops out of the sky....next second, 30kts: kite takes off in the power zone. Guess its one way to grab big air.... just worried about sticking the landing!
May go, help launch a few kites and watch the big kids wrestle it.
