First of all I think I should get offended by this letter from BS. Yes this must be a joke.
To answer your question I got back from Key Biscane working with SFKB and MKB for 40 days in Miami. Why dont`u ask about me to those guys? By the way no one likes those guys and they have multiple lawsuits against them.
I ll give u names Christoff and Stefan go ahead call them

There are multiple schools that operate from Hobie beach they park their boat a few hundred yards and keep on doing it.

Not that it means anything but I ve been with IKO for over 4 years I m currently L2 Head Coach a very few hours away from being L2 Senior, Examiner candidate.
I have also over 10 years of coaching acrobatics and gymnastics where 1 of my students made it to the Olympics. I`m well educated and speak 4 languages not to brag but I think I qualify. Where do u stand with IKO jane Last time I checked you were L1?

Last year I received numerous phone calls and letters to my name where I was being blamed for teaching at times where I was working at the other shop in a dry place.
Let alone anything else but the bad energy, why.
When you use people who want to learn cant really afford dear as assistants call them instructors use them for lessons and underpay them or not pay them at all, that is not safety that is not teaching. Shall I even open up the tax issue. Come on guys
Before you accuse anyone please take look at the mirror.

I worked for you for 2 summers for you(2005-2006) for free until you started screaming at me beach 2 years ago in front of all my friends saying that I can not teach there where I was just sitting down at the other launch) I was much kind to you that day and still I would be because I don`t fear you or value your negative style.
I can by all means say that I`m an easy going guy I have broken no hearts
(that I remember of if so please consider my sincere apologies) in this sport not been unkind or unfair to anyone however, I have seen how manipulative and unfair this is. So since I`m not in the industry part of it anymore I can say what I want.

You CAN NOT take kite boarding out of people or force laws or monopolize.
I love my kiting friends and family they mean a lot to me, This sport is one of the best things ever happened to most of us. If it`s more of a business for you I advice decency. As a matter of principal I`m not letting this go until someone comes with a solution.

Mahalo for reading this everyone.

CLASS!! Come to ORDER-
I'd like you all to meet Mr. Stadanko.
He is the NEW BEACH COP and he is here to speak to you about DRAGGING ABUSE.
I know how much you all love a good dragging so please, LISTEN UP!

Getting dragged near the shoreline can be fun and we all enjoy the entertainment however it has come to our attention that a few of you have been doing it to much-
For your own safety and for those that might take a drag with you We'd like to make the following suggestions:
KNOW WHEN TO SAY WHEN- learn when it's time to hold'm and when it's time to foldm''.

Note: A special HAND'S ON/HAND'S OFF CLINIC for our "Special Friends" will be held so they too can learn to drag with the best of em'-
For the remainder of the class we will begin with pointing out that BIG RED BUTTON located near your BELLY BUTTON. That button is part of your "SAFETY SYSTEM" and will come into play at some time in every kiters life-
As you launch and begin to FEEL THE POWER it is best to pay special attention to the BIG COLORFUL KITE at the end of the lines you've attached improperly. As objects around you suddenly start flying by and your friends begin to YELL, "LET GO OF THE BAR- LET GO OF THE BAR" it is best to follow there instruction rather then HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE... #-o
After OVERRIDING your NATURAL INSTINCTS and releasing the DEATH GRIP you have on your bar, it is NOW TIME to GRASP the BIG RED BUTTON and PUSH/PULL OR YANK- It is advisable to REFRAIN FROM SCREAMING, MOMMA, DADDY or JUSUS-CHRIST! Your Momma/DADDY and JUSUS are NOT HERE and you will probably just get a MOUTH FULL OF SAND rather then the desired effect of actually STOPPING the ROLLER COASTER RIDE your on-
Should your "FRIENDS JUMP ON YOU" please be aware they would like the RIDE TO STOP as BAD, IF NOT MORE then you do.. So once again LISTEN TO THEIR COMMANDS and the ride will come to a COMPLETE STOP- :-"

Sorry- I have to delay the program for now- I THINK I'VE BROKEN ANOTHER RIB-

TO FUNNY !!!!

I just got wind of this thread... not sure who posted it but it does bring to mind the fact that we all need to take time out of our session to help the new guy do the right thing.

I don't have a choice as my wife will be on the bull horn if any kiter needs to be landed or launched or is out of control and if I want dinner after my session I had better respond !!!

Many kiters know me as the old guy with the "lifesaver mints" and this is how I work my magic ? how if you should ask...for some unknown reason it works like a peace pipe ? and it takes to hands to get the mint out of the package meaning "time -out " to have a sweet talk.

Everyone wants to be like the guy or gal that is killin the moves out there so my first words are " welcome to the "Shellgate Launch" and then I ask them if they have takin lessons ? if they say Yes ?? I ask if they could tell me a bit of what they took away from those lessons.. most of the time I can tell right away if they are tryin to pull a fast on me. and I give them another mint and ask them to check in with Jane at the shack.. If they don't have the money I ask our crew if they can help with this ?? I think this is what Jane is talking about on helping a kiter to see the importance of that safety lesson.

Hey guys...take my word on this one..share the stoke and it will come back to you like a hand full of mints !!!! class dismissed :supz: :banana-parachute:

Adrenaline is a hormone produced by the adrenal gland in the body of many animals. When it is produced in the body it stimulates the heart-rate, dilates blood vessels and air passages, and has a number of more minor effects. Adrenaline is naturally produced in high-stress or physically exhilarating situations.

The term "fight or flight" is often used to characterize the circumstances under which adrenaline is released into the body. It is an early evolutionary adaptation to allow better coping with dangerous and unexpected situations. With dilated blood vessels and air passages, the body is able to pass more blood to the muscles and get more oxygen into the lungs in a timely manner, increasing physical performance for short bursts of time.

I think one of the big problems with kiting is that it became mainstream. When people see an extreme sport that only a very few are doing, they perceive it as crazy and dangerous. When someone sees how many people are kiting and all the schools teaching it, they perceive it as a perfected sport that some company has made safe enough for the masses to try. Although things are massively safer than years ago, the gear cannot think for itself.

Kevin, do you have anything to say about this? You are awfully quiet.
