Hello Bulldog,
In my opinion ..the "Slingshot Link" was the only kite that would cut through the wind like a knife at any point in the window "NO FLUTTER" I think this was because there were so many struts, I rode a bro's 7m in a storm here in Alameda and he had to pry it out of my cold hands!! we took a Rav and layed it on top of the Link and there was no difference between the two kites except the number of struts. I think the idea on this was a lighter kite ?? not sure of this though.
That company is years ahead of the competition ..To funny I still have a drake board that is still my favorite over any other board ?? mostly because it has a foam core and is easy on the knees and I have never blown a footstrap because they are attached to the board with a bolt and nut , I never had to adjust the angle because the footstrap itself is 2 ply rubber after the covers wore off I found your foot will lock in them if you where booties.. Man they were making a statement with that board!! I'm sure if John Deere looked at that board he would give it a thumbs-up on construction fo sho..." " !!!! repair them "LINKS" them bad boyz just need a little dental floss and there ready to fly...

I tried the Rally 10m and I really like the kite, I wish I had time to try the 12m also.

Will be at the lower launch tomorrow between 12-4ish. Need to leave a bit early for the Sherman gig... Need to stop by costo for a supply run.. If you need to take the kite up to the second launch no worries... Conditions were keen today and had a few demos out. Looks kite it could be the same for tomorrow, come early if you don't want to wait in line... But I do have basically two sizes in each type. So come on down and try some gear out why don't ya?.. :happy-smileyinthebox:

Hello Shymac,
How is the fastrack on the "Darko" I think this is the only board that employes this track?? I just wanted to ask as I have tryed the rotater plates and in my opinion there will be many versions of this type of track? with that said.. with your track? can you use any footstrap on the track.
Thanks in advance...Max

Can I make a suggestion/request a favor?
When demos or anything date related gets posted here, what 'bout using a date in addition to "Tomorrow" or "Saturday"?
For example when Shymac wrote:
"Will be at the lower launch tomorrow between 12-4ish"
Of course, I could look at the date s/he posted that message, but it seems, from a good marketing, we'd-like-to-sell-you-some-kites perspective, it would be more clear if it were something more like:
Will be at the lower launch at 3rd Ave tomorrow, (8/17), between 12=4ish
Anal, I know. But unless you're following the thread up-to-the-minute, "tomorrow" doesn't tell you much.
OK, off my soapbox...

Hey Kirk...Dude your not anal at all !!! I used to buy alot of gear from manufacturers for my winsurfing store, and I would get some rep dude that would power out and tell me he was king and if I didn't like his demo dates and or how he ran them.. he could have there gear pulled from my store.. So I called the manufacture and put stop payment on a check that I had just issued them and they not only fired the rep but had to call the police to get there demo stuff from the dude!! In the end.. The customer is always the one that pays there bills.WindMuch wrote:Can I make a suggestion/request a favor?
