This is a common problem i have anywhere. I feel that giving ROW only applies when danger is imminent. most of the time we all know each other and it is easy to predict the way someone is riding what they are about to do. It is annoying however when you give ROW and someone gives it back. So the same problems can result in BOTH kiters being "nice" to each other. but, by far, the most irritating thing is when you are very close to someone and they are clearly fighting to cut you off just to turn right around and throw a trick.

I guess the beauty to getting older is you don't feel you HAVE to throw down every single tach!

At the end of the day, we all shared the same water and wind.

Just got off the water, crowded but no problems. After missing the past 45 days all these complaints about everything seem so trivial. Stoked to be back in the mix, FO SHO!!!

Yeah, might be good tomorrow, or the next day, or anytime next week or the following weekend, or the one after, can someone save me a spot?

99. 100 your UP!
I just read about Kinsley's accident, sounds like he got hit with a double lifter that lofted him ONTO the beach..
I remember my "O=$HIT" moment, flying sideways headlong into the rocks... As I was flying with a blurr of rocks below me, completely in the moment, I had time to think two or three times "am I going to make it".. As I read the writting on the wall and knew I was done, I snapped to forward roll in an attempt to land (excuse me CRASH) feet first... I knew I was going to get badly hurt no matter what but I NEVER thought I was going to die....
Well the first shot was to the back of the head and ALL MOTOR CONTROL was suddenly LOST!!!

As I lay there, face down in 6" of water there was this AWESOME BUZZING SOUND, my bell was rung!! The worst part is I was convinced I would live- without the use of my body, a prisoner LOCKED IN MY OWN MIND for the duration of my lifetime.... Suddenly I was SOOOO ANGRY but there nothing I could do...

IT WAS PURE LUCK I was able to walk away from that......

Today I wonder how long some kiters will push their luck.
How many times they will attempt to cheat the devil before he draws their card..

A quality life is so VALUABLE I can't understand why we'd be so careless to not wear even the most basic piece of safety gear.. We kite places lined with rip-rap, kiting around riders that have little control... anything can and DOES HAPPEN.. Yet WE THINK nothing will ever happen to ME!
