Scott died doing something he LOVED- would he want me to feel bad for doing the same?
Gregory Burton Boyington
I can assure Scott would not want anyone to hold back. Hell no! Go out and TEAR IT UP or as Scottie would say: Go Big or Go Home!

And for whatever its' worth.. when I told Scott's brother Craig that we have almost $400 from kiteboarding community he stared crying. He was genuinely touched. It is really not about the money!

Rado - just a heads up. Dropped a $100 off at Bank of West Wednesday morning. I hope it made it.

Milton... I did not check my messages for a week until yesterday evening. I will call you Monday. Thank you so much.

Hey Milton,

I matched your donation for $100.00 via the paypal method.

We are having a big BBQ on the 26th for Kite Naked demo at Sherman Island. We will pass the hat around then as well for Scott.

TIP!!!

When you go to the "Send Money" page on PayPal, select the "PERSONAL" tab in "Payment Type" -- this prevents the 3% fee to PayPal so the transaction is free and the receiver gets 100% of the funds.

You all may already know this, but if not...

I just sent a donation and if we were playing "The Price is Right" I would WIN ;)! [not sure anyone will get this joke, but...]

Jon,

I chose personal, and 'gift' and it just put the transaction fee on my end rather than the recipients end, so the charge didn't vary, I just paid it instead of the recipient. Is there another option I missed?

Choose Personal then "Other" -- no fee to either side since it's a donation.

It may also be a question of whether you are funding via credit card or bank checking account. (The latter is free for personal money transfers.)
