It would definitely help w the congestion at 3rd upper launch if beginners (w or w/out an instructor) would body drag out far enough so traffic doesn't badly back-up. I have at times cut it pretty close to a beginner when there's like 5 people behind me waiting to get out.
Also maybe, if you're an instructor, and there's a line backing up, it could be nice every now and then to let a few people go out before you put your student in the water.
Kitopia is a great school. They do teach safety and etiquette. I am sure there are other instructors doing all that too, just wanted to mention their good example.

Those people that teach each other and block the upper launch are not schools. The schools have jetskies and they know what they are doing. Its more like friends.

Re: New Kiter Tips and Info
As with any sport, there are good and bad teachers, the student should check out who he is getting lessons from, making sure that they are certified with references and that they have the experience and proper equipment to teach. It is the instructors responsibility to advise their student if they should continue with lessons or if are ready to start going out on their own. People learn at different pace so one guy may get it in one day, others will need more time. In defense of the schools. It MAY be the student who wants to save a buck and go out on their own, I am sure every instructor would enjoy continued lessons with their student if possible. Instead of complaining about newbies, why not help them out whenever possible. 30 seconds of your time may save someones life!
