I know descriptions can get become embellished over time, but already by 5 this afternoon it was being called the windiest day pretty much ever.

Crazy winds at 3rd:

"70-foot fishing boat that rammed into the span Tuesday as a result of gale-force winds at about the same time that a big-rig truck blew over in the eastbound direction as a result of the high wind"

the video shows perfectly why one should not go out in these winds as noone has real fun like on a good 20-25 knot day. All are at their limits, overpowered, hard time to get any edge before a jump, pulled up just by the kite powered and not by loading something into it.

I for my part rather wait for the good days and enjoy my riding than to proof that it is possible. I also dont want to add a 4 m kite to my library for the 1-2 days per year...

Still crazy, G

i think it's funny that coyote was gusting to 60 and ramsey decides not to go out on his smallest kite....now that's hard core....

I was hoping to see someone jump the bridge...
Seeing that poor bird was a bummer, reminded me of a Canadian Goose that flew into the base ball net here in Alameda.. Unlucky bugger hung there by it's neck for months...

Bummer about the bird, why would anyone think that's funny?
