Was surprised to find a kiteboard way out past the point, I ran into it but it did not seem to have been damaged, lucky I was riding my surfboard reversed.
Describe it and its yours.

Ya, I was kinda in a dilemma at that time. I was on my way in when I ran into the board. I've been in the water since 2 pm, so I was a bit too tired to do a couple of tacks upwind, plus the board I was dragging was so damn heavy, I could not do anything with it. I initially tried riding it, but I just ended up further downwind. I'm not good enough yet to ride a strapless surfboard while rescuing another board. And I could not find anybody to help me land my kite. I did not want to pull the safety since its my kites maiden voyage and I did not want it to get wet or damaged today. So, I either be a nice guy and try to painstakingly walk the board back up, or ditch it and not deal with it.

I hauled in a surfboard today, what I did was, put the leash through the strap and reattached it suicide. Worked pretty good.

Well, i guess i feel pretty bad now as we were both in our wetsuits just watching you out the bedroom window. We were so cold because our suits were all wet from just kiting at 3rd and it seemed like crappy conditions here. So we just indecisively sat in the warm house as you suffered to bring in someone's board. :) oh well, you did your good deed for the day.

Here is a picture of this board. Since nobody has claimed it, I am going to use it for awhile and eventually give it away to a kiter who is cash strapped and can't afford a board.
Let me know if anybody recognize this board so it can find its way back to the owner.

Is this you Wayne as in Wayne, Max and Zia's neighbor?
I told Max that I was gonna give this to his neighbor Wayne. It is currently located at my sister's house in Alameda.
The next time I'm up there, I'll drop it off at Max's house.
I will be in Alameda next weekend for a visit with my relatives.
