Australian kiteboarder looking for friends in SF!

Hey,
im just finishing my travelling round the USA and am back in SF from the 24th until the 8th october! I am still not sure where im staying ect but i am really keen to get out kiteboarding!! I have just got two new torches and a new board, (liquid force) I am a confident rider and would love to go out kiteboarding with someone, i am free all these days so it would be great to go to some local spots, meet the locals and get to know the bay!!! All my kiteboarding gear is in SF already but yeah still looking for a place to stay.. hopefully I will see some of you out on the bay!!

ohh and also i am short of a harness becuase it wouldnt fit in my bag and have got one in aus and not thinking its worth buying a new one and seeing if i can borrow one for my time in SF?
would be awesome! :)

I have a harness you can have -- North Styler waist size L, just PM me. Also, check craigslist.org, kitewudsurf.com, live2kite.com, boardsportsschool.com, helmsports -- local shops.

We're all pretty friendly, so go to the kitespots and meet some people. Some of us (like me for instance) are a bit on edge because we haven't made the transition from kite season, to winter and we are getting skunked, no wind on weekends, bogus sessions -- it will all smooth out after we (I) accept my fate ;).

Jono - brotha, take a deep breath.....you have a few options:
kite: head west young man. The coast comes on this time of the year, and the surf is not quite that large, yet.
Mt. bike: great time to get your aerobic game on. Temps cooler, trails less crowded.

I have a tough time finding good fun single track rides..

hey guys thanks for the tips, if anyone is heading for a trip out to half moon bay(west coast) ect pm me becuase i would be extemely excited to do any kiteboarding!!! anyway thansk for all the tips guys!
