Thanks for supporting kiting without a board leash

Post by arcn » Mon Jul 28, 2008 7:51 pm

I just want to say thanks to the woman kiter who picked up my board at Sherman and delivered it back to the beach this weekend. I was doing a down winder, lost my board, and had to body drag in. Obviously i'm a newbie but I refuse to kite with a board leash. Thanks to the folks looking out and picking up after those of us just getting started; you allow us to not add additional danger to the sport by wearing a board leash.

Thanks to everyone for looking out for the new guy.

Matt

Matt glad to see you making the right choice...you will be heaps ahead of the curve by just letting go...in case you missed it here is the post I added to page 4 of helicopter rescue at sherman...

Afraid of getting killed by your board attached to your leash???

Try my new release activated by an exploding charge like they use in vehicle air bags...

"Getting lofted???", no problem just pull one of the emergency rings on the "Blow Joe" and your leash will detach from you...(possible other parts not excluding your lips, legs, bawls, eyebrows, toes, tongue and ass cheeks might accidently detach as well)

Kirk, you're a man after my own heart.

makes me laugh everytime you go to the hardware store and deck your friends out for a safety photo.

I think BAK needs to elevate the TERROR ALERT LEVEL and turn someone in to DHS/TSA/FBI! Gives a new meaning to "riding suicide."

I would have never guessed posting to this site would put me on the Homeland Security Watch list, but THANKS! Just what I needed. For the record, I’ll pass on the vest.
