I'm glad the wind picked up. I kept checking ikite all day and it didn't pick up until after 4pm so I bailed with the wifey.

Glad you like the Rebel! ;) To me it is the perfect kite. I know everyone has their preference but that kite is golden.

And I fell in love with my new Vegas! Man it just feels so right to me just like Yuri said about the Rebel for him.

Bobby, we were wondering where you were man. How could you miss a North demo event? What a nice afternoon.

It was definitely a blast today, and pretty wild to look at one point and see nothing but North kites on the water.

Here are a few shots from the beach of the sunset session:

Thanks! It is the kite for sure. The minute I put up the Vegas I felt like it was so much easier to pull off the tricks I've been practicing. I love it when equipment just does what you want it to do.

The demo at Sherman was a huge success yesterday, after the wind picked up in the afternoon we had almost every kite we brought on the water, from 7m to 16m. I didn't think we would need more than 11 bars but fortunately some people were kind enough to loan us their bars for our kites! It was great seeing all those North kites on the water and all those stoked North riders!!

It was a blast meeting and riding with everyone who made it out. Thank you! Sherman Island is a very special place, thank you for sharing it with us!

Special thank you to Donnie and Sandy for organizing it all, and a huge thank you to Barbeque Mike and his family for hooking everyone up with an awesome barbeque lunch and dinner complete with Chicken, Tri tip and salad. Big thanks to all the local team riders who helped pump up and put away all that gear and get people setup and on the water, Evan, Yuri, Donnie, Sandy, Michelle, Kirk, Johnny, and anyone I forgot... Thanks to the guy who brought the keg of beer also!

Look for us out at 3rd Ave today, It won't be a demo because of permitting issues but if you want to ride a kite or board that Jon, Sky or I are riding, just ask and you can ride it.

Thanks again, wherever you ride today have fun and be safe!

Travis
