No, just normal booties. I have tried the wetsuit over and under and either way water pours right in them and stays there till I go numb. Annoying.

you need ankle straps yuri. i get mine from mcmastercarr (i can send you the part number if you really want them), but i'm pretty sure that live2kite sells them too. they're just velcro straps that go around your ankles to keep your westuit from riding up and giving you cankles. it also seals your booties. they're a must have.

I do have them, they are just annoying as hell putting them on they really didnt seem to help much. I'll give em another try tomorrow since it seems monday will be windy again. Of course I wil have no time to do anything now that I am running 2 businesses!

Yuri, I don't think the IRS considers "Servicing my girlfriend" to be an actual business. :P

Yuri:

Eat more BEEF & POTATOES, it will stop the flushing in the suit.

lol. Thats pretty funny because I thought about that factor. My chicken legs might be the verdict. With my formula one metabolism i would need a lot of beef and potatoes.

I love California!!

Great to get out on the water today. Even though it was cold it was great to see people and feel that kite power again. Even after 6 years i still love kiteboarding.

The whole work thing and traveling has gotten in the way a bit and I got to say there is no other place in the country quite like Cali!

Of course I don't get to travel to Hawaii or Florida so can not garuntee that statement.

Alameda was fun yesterday, and I was thinking while out on the water, colder winter kiting pretty much only brings out the more experienced kiters so unlike a spring or early summer day at Alameda, no botched launches, kites in the road, oblivious line rigging over others lines, scared kiters ion the water and Yuri, not one yellow cabrinha in sight! O:)
