Just one more reason to NOT come to the delta. Health risks. It's hot and the wind wind sucks anyway, so don't come there. Save gas and stop global warming in the process.
No, zeev, you have it wrong.....the Delta is the place to be this weekend!

Yeah, Z. Why the negativity? Everyone should come join the fun at the Delta this weekend. Especially since traffic towards the coast is going to be so horrendous due to the BB closure. Not that there would be any reason to go to the coast when the Delta's going to be blowin' so hard.

Plus, what would you rather risk, a shark attack or being eaten by the Blob?

Then I guess we need to find someone to hack Ikite's sensors and boost the Sherman marker by 20 mph or so. =D>

You gotta wonder when that Waddell sensor goes down on a big weekend... maybe some of the goat-beard boys are taking a hammer to it.

On the other hand, Tahoe maybe a good alternative to the delta this weekend. The water is clean and they are calling for wind...

BREEZY CONDITIONS DEVELOP NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80 BY LATE AFTERNOON WHICH WOULD BLOW ANY STORMS THAT ARE ABLE TO FORM EAST OF THE SIERRA CREST. THE WIND POTENTIAL WILL NEED TO BE MONITORED THE NEXT FEW DAYS FOR RED FLAG CONCERNS BUT MAINLY FOR LAKE WIND ADVISORIES GOING INTO THE BUSY HOLIDAY WEEKEND. MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY BOTH SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASE BY SATURDAY MAKING FOR A DRY FORECAST.

I'm wondering if it's worth going from tendonitis to some other type of "itis". My hand is feeling good and I'm ready to kite, but I'm now a little worried. I can't believe the timming of this algal bloom... so lame! Is this toxic blooming any worse than kiting Sherman after a sewage leak?

Searching the web I found the solution to our Delta Algae Problem
(Couple of sips in the morning and a good dose at night)

I think most of the people at sherman island already drink something like that. At the baja launch we call it beer. I dont know what they call it at the other launch.

The doctor suggests that you drink one bottle before a session and one or two or ten after your session and before your next session.
