WTF about the food?

Post by jono » Tue Mar 06, 2007 11:00 pm

You guys are so gun-ho on the cleaning, I haven't heard anything about the FOOD (these discussions so often work the opposite way ;). So, is this everyman for himself and there will be some heat (probably the easiest), or will we be actually picking trash and scavenging sea(shore)food to strengthen our [glow=red]gut[/glow] and our nerves?

[glow=red]but wait! I thought I was going to be the drill sargent...[/glow]

Actually this will be fun, anyone who shows up to help will get a ride of some sort. Hopefully I'll be kiting like a GOD instead of whining like a child in pain after skiing for the first time in years! Yuri will be filming everything from 200' up after getting slung off the ski with his new North kite. Narly 1 will be showing us all up on how to do a 100' powered face plant "hooped in" to the bungee sled while the girls cook our meat.. Perhaps even Chopper will grace the scene with a foil-boarding demonstration.
I'm talking FUN!

i'm on it. although, do you mean skimboard? cause, i don't have a wakeboard. the new skimhorny skimboard looks pretty tight with the pads all stuck to it. I'll have to figure out how to post some pics. i'll also bring some sort of hot dog/wiener/bratwurst/sausage for general consumption.

I'll bring some XL bindings -- no board to stick them on though.

clean up

Post by andre » Wed Mar 07, 2007 4:53 pm

I'll come and help out too. I've been doing some beach clean-ups w/ Surfrider, so I'll see if they know who to contact to be on the up and up. I'll see if I can get us some bags and gloves too.
