It Sucks that so many people have had their gear stolen! I sold my kite to a friend in Menlo Park and she had it stolen right out of her own garage! Please let me know if you see this kite.

Well it seems that our sport has reached a milestone: Even scumbag crackhead tweaker thieves know what a kiteboarding kite is and think they can sell one for enough to get their next fix.

Let's just hope this community is small enough to keep a real market from developing for kites that people are selling for way too cheap.

#$&%$^ this really pisses me off because I'm working all week this week on theft-proofing my shop which has been ripped off three times in the last two years. People who steal stuff suck.

That does suck. I wonder how much it would cost and if you could put a small "low jack" device sewn into a pocket of the kite bag? There might be a small market for this..... Hell I paid more for my kites than I did on my first car. For what it's worth I'll keep an eye out too.
