How often should you replace your lines?

Started kiting last season. I've probably got 25 sessions on my 12m switchblade (with pulleys). Any recommendations on when to replace my lines?

Thanks for the reply, it was very helpful. One more question, do you ever put anything on your lines (i.e. some sort of spray)? I think I remember reading a post a while ago about that. I basically get home from a session and simply rinse my bar/lines off with the hose and then hang them up to dry.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

i honestly think it depends on the person. some people break harnesses, lines, pigtails, spreaderbars, boards . . .and some people haven't broken a thing.
if you think about it, some people are going to put a lot more stress on their equipment depending on their body weight and skill level.
with that said, if you're not super heavy and not pulling really intense tricks, you can probably see if your gear is starting to fray and needs replacement. if you're super hard core and weigh over 200 lbs, it might not be a bad idea to just replace it once a year.
