Charlie, if your yelling saved one person from hurting/killing themselves, it was all worth it.

Was that you yelling at me during those wicked squalls last week? I wondered why I was the only one on the water as I got tea-bagged toward the breakwater. I think you said something like "you are about to die, punch out, what are you thinking riding a 13 in gusts to 35+, dummy, go home you are jeopardizing our launch rights here at the Crowne!"

Or something like that...

Or maybe you were just asking what size to rig? At that particular moment I would have recommended an 8, BTW!

Or, were you just asking Max for a lesson? His student was passing the part of the course where you body drag through the LZ I think.

All I can say for riding this time of the year.....

You better have respect for the elements.......

If you don't, you will pay.....

The energy is powerful, and not always as predictable......make sure you know how your safety gear works and is not stuck with sand/salt......

As far as reliability of forecast, I still question how good the wind will be: when it's this frontal driven, it comes to the water surface in big blasts (vs. steady thermal pull of the NPH + Heat of the land).......

You know it's going to be cold.......

The ocean is going to be BIG  . DEFINATELY not a good time to "check out what riding in the waves is like".....

I will most likely be riding a big 1,800 foot wave called Alpine Meadows!!!

Whatever you choose to do, have fun, be safe and always......Get some, Z.

Z,
AM currently listing ... 4 runs open.

I think I have a hangover from my CO trip, too much champagne (powder, that is).
