I emailed Baja Joe's on Monday and haven't heard back... I'm leaving Saturday morning. Can anyone tell me how to get there from Cabo (the website only talks about coming from La Paz)? Will the rental car people be able to? Will a map be good enough? Thanks,

From Cabo Airport follow these directions to La Ventana:
Drive away from the airport heading east for 1/2 mile to the main highway, then turn NORTH, left at the highway, drive north past Los Barriles, and San Bartolo. As you go through the little town of San Antonio, just past the Pemex station as you start to go uphill in a left curve filled with big palm trees, TURN RIGHT, there may be a sign that says Los Planes, go a little more than one city block and turn left, go to the next corner and turn right, the signs will say Los Planes.
Drive down this dirt road ( the San Antonio freeway ) for about 20 minutes until you come to pavement again.
Go left at the fork in the road end to pavement again, drive past the next Pemex station, turn right at the first paved road past the Pemex station, in another 5 miles you'll be here, we are in between the second and third speed bump right on the beach, look for the bright green building that says BAJ MAHAL & Casa Verde . (Baja Joe's is a couple doors earlier)
Be sure to drive as fast as you can on the freeway (dirt road) , this way it smoothes out all the bumps. It's not as bad as it sounds and it saves you the several hours more it would take if you drive into La Paz to get here.
The controlled drifts on the dirt road are the funest part! Have a fun and safe trip.

Just so you know, the reason you havn't recieved a reply from Joe, Angie was rushed (via heli) to Modesto to try and get rid of a serious virus / infection.
I'm pretty sure Joe is with her.... I don't know when he will be going back but I would say with confidance they have all the details taken care of for their hotel and guests.
I donít know all of the details, just second hand information via E Mail but I know all of our prayers are with them.

Oh no, thats terrible. I hope everything is ok... I called this morning and got a young woman who said she was there helping the owners out... I'm going to go through La Paz, I'll feel better about that since we will be driving in the dark. Thanks for all the help guys, hope you get some more freak Alameda days while I'm gone...
