Ollie,
Did you check the golf corse at Bay Farm Island. Perfect spot, away from everyone so you can play music as loud as you want, lots.. of parking, bar and kitchen, easy access too! But I dont know about rental costs...

Want a ride on a steam-powered rickshaw? You might just get one...

Sleuthing Reveals...

Rickshaw Stop
155 Fell Street (at Van Ness)
SF, CA

Looks Cool! Did I guess correctly? (And, yes, I'm the bouncer.) Wait, I'm wrong, it's already booked for the 27th...

We'll have to wait for the official announcement. :-k

And here it is:

Contiuum - Bay Area Kiteboarding and Ultranectar Party Location - Friday, October 27

End of Season & Halloween Costume Party 2006

We've settled on a prime East Bay location in Berkeley in a newly acquired warehouse that is part of The Shipyard, Jim Mason's collaborative build space for large-scale mechanical, kinetic and electronic artwork made up of 27 shipping containers arrayed around the perimeter of a 11,000 sq ft outdoor lot. Jim Masonís generosity for allowing us to host this event at The Shipyard is well appreciated and as one of Burning Manís earliest participants and artists, among many other things, his work is worth checking out. For more info on The Shipyard, What I Am Up To.com and an excerpt from the book, ëThis Is Burning Maní, check out the links below.

1019 Folger St. (at 10th), Berkeley

The location is great, with plenty of warehouse space, parking and is in a safe area with Intersate 80 one minute away. For those coming from afar or who don't wish to drive after the party, Holiday Inn is located about 2 minutes away in Emeryville.
