Yes! I want one even more now. If I have a rhino my training will be complete. My first kite wa sa 2002 rhino and it had on/off power but I only knew what I had flown to tyhat date and that was it so what is the comparison? After flying mostly bows now, i am spoiled by the humungous range and grunty low end. I am basing my enthusiasm over the north flat kite on the fact that Ken Winner will not design garbage just to make a sale. I guess I can live with a 2 pump system, that aint bad. Am I still lazy Charlie if I pump it twice? Anyways, I will keep onto the TD collection til they come out as nothing other than the Hypertype ahs struck my fancy yet. Although the switchblade 2 is getting really great reviews all accross the board.

Yuri, I was told that the SB2 is a complete redesign and not a version 2 kite. Is very different than SB1. It would be very interesting to see what it is. I hope I can demo some stuff during winter vacation. A rep told me that if I like the SB1, I should check out the crossbow 2 first, because it has some characteristics of the SB1 added in (like rounder arc and lower bar pressure), while the SB2 is a different animal than last year. My guess is that the crossbow2 will be closer to your TDs, for good and bad :)

I have flown the xbow 2 and it had the most low end I have ever felt for a 12. Very smooth, very little luffing. I still dont like the bar though and it still has pulleys and it didnt depower enough within its bar range without physically pulling the depower. They also, and this is from Steve, intentially designed this kite to produce power in a turn unlike most bows. This means if you are a chicken shit half way through a kite loop, you get tossed. Power while turning is nice though when you are carving around though. I guess its all a compromise. I am going to call my renters insurance and tell them my 25 kites just got stolen and go buy one of each of all the new toys for next season.

On a personal note, Elli, I just ran the first Glid2 board on my cnc router and it is freaking slick! You shoudl check this thing out, and if you still want to borrow that rocker table, it's here waiting for you.

I will try to come to your shop sometime. I know I said it like 10 times beforeÖ
When you are back riding, we should compare boards. I think my last version is OK, which I cannot really say on versions 1,2,3...

I am actually thinking of making a glass version of it because its freeking heavy.

Are you de-emphasizing friend by keeping it lowercase?

I also mispelled the word for "where" I think. It's been a long time since I took high school German, Josh. Probably since you were just a zygote!

Paul - no guerilla marketing, I'm a team rider for North.

Charlie - Berk was good today, you wanna ride, come out. I got some rebels for you, and anyone else who wants, to fly/try. Look for my review shortly......

Z,
Berkeley tomorrow or SI?

I sure was wishing I had hit Pt. Emery on Tuesday instead of Sherman.
