As someone mentioned earlier OB does the natural selection.
There is only 10-20 days where OB gets it really like it should(wind-wise), so I don`t know what is there to protect (definetly not a prime wave-ridding spot!,Stinson gets more wind and clean waves than OB for example).

The real thing to be bumming about now is that we cant get in the water for a few dayz.First rain of the year =nasty-ass water.All that scum that accumulated since Spring just got washed off in our favorites playgrounds(Bay and Coast).

The real thing to be bumming about now is that we cant get in the water for a few dayz.First rain of the year =nasty-ass water.All that scum that accumulated since Spring just got washed off in our favorites playgrounds(Bay and Coast).

Yes, Mr. Lion Kite you do have a point, however, it is only when we have had a series of rain days and downpours that they start opening up the outflow pipes @ Lincoln/Taraval. Days like yesterday they do not let that sewage out.
If you want to go goofy on 20' OB, I'll carshuttle with you to Sloat.
