Who's coming out to represent at the local kite spot at Folsom? The place is at Folsom Point or as the locals call it - Dyke 8. The forecast is for STRONG winds (20-30mph) here in the valley. I'll be there tomorrow morning and Saturday afternoon. It should be EPIC!!!

Sorry about the double post! You like two versions? Ignore one of them (or both if you like).

Charlie,
It's blowing 25 plus right now at my house. Normally the N. wind lasts through the day, then dies at sunset (then it starts up again after midnight). This "event" is supposed to go through Saturday, which means tomorrow will probably be windy, too. Today is supposed to be the strongest, though. Where I live they're saying gusts to 45, but it's usually less strong on the east side of the valley.

Never fails that we get one of these just before our pistachios are harvested; the wind's already knocked tons of them on the ground.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.

I actually have to be in Sac on Saturday. Take kites? Small kites?

Mark is there going to be an Instinct demo (maybe I don't have to bring kites :) )
