Big Thanks For Board Return at 3rd

Just a short note of thanks to the guy on the Green North at third that returned my board yesterday. Very much appreciated it. Multiple beers owed.

Was out on a new 12m Naish Boxer, and the kite ripped after a mild crash. There is a huge vertical tear, 3 foot long, from the trailing edge of the kite to the bladder, and then another horizontal tear along the bladder for another 2 ft or so.

The kite was brand new, bought on 26 May. Been intermittantly used and well cared for. Very wierd. Not sure what to make of this but suspect that the material used had some defect in it given that the tear was so dramatic.
