So what is metric for kiteable wind at OB. The graph from yesterday looks really light -- steady but averaging around 15 or lower. Does the ocean air have more punch? I really want to ride there a few times this summer, and it's a long drive for me to get skunked.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.

The sensor @ OB is garbage. It is located up @ Fort Funston. Usually go by the buoys and check out this cam before you go http://www.surfpulse.com/view_1.shtml to see the fog situation. I live in SF and try to kite @ OB whenever I can, but during the summer it is just too foggy sometimes.Bulldog wrote:So what is metric for kiteable wind at OB.
