What was this really flat bow at 3rd yesterday. Even more flat than the Rap2! Normaly I think I know the different kites but this was really new to me. The surfer came in when I went out so couldnt get too close to have an eye on it.

BTW, wonderful wind with insane boosting gusts ... G

I'm guessing it was Fred on his Sofx (?) kites. It's a French brand not sold in the US.

Sofx is from Israel

it was not a SOFX as they are not that flat and their design is way different.

it was the Genetrix Hydra after a quick google search

Sounds like a new diet pill!!

Arn't we a little full on the kite makers at this point. Man they just keep coming. Everyone wants in on the game but they just keep the prices high because there is too much competition. If there were only three or so comapanies they could mass produce and lower the price.

sounds like you are in the kite business and worry about your margin?

Typically as more competition as lower the price ! Thats the basic law of free market economy. Just think back to the days before Best came in and lowered the price by 50%. The early kites were shit (who remembers delamination of the first two naish years!!!) and wonderful expensive. Much better now, mainly through competition...

more to come. G

Yep it was Genetrix, I was confused.
Fred really likes the kite - seems like it turns well.
