Back from Baja, it was a good kiting trip - got 5 out of 7 days in kiting and am plenty sore.

I'll post pics and video of some of the trip and kiting.

On a wild sidenote, there were a bunch of firemen kiters staying at various places, altogether about 20 total, with 4 staying where I was and on the night before i left, a huge bonfire drew maybe 250-30 people and people were getting trashed. Well, the firefighters devised a competition to determine who gets the cot and who gets the floor as the place was overbooked, with the contest being who jumps over the huge bonfire farthest, i think. Well, one of the firemen didn't make it and fell in the fire and was carted off to the doctor in La Paz in the middle of the night. Never found out exactly who it was as they were all pretty hung over and tight-lipped about the whole thing the next morning as they were hurrying to leave and catch a flight.

Go figure!

I have some friends who are firemen. They set their neighbors' roof on fire last year with fireworks on New Year's Eve.

There's a reason they became firemen. They like fires. Setting them, putting them out. Same difference.

Um, there were a couple of chilly days, but it was still warm, and trust me, he missed out on nothing. I was there and there's no comparison, I'll take a January day in LaV. lit on a 10 over any day at OB... it was very good.
