I've been reading about the pros and cons of bow kites and I wanted to highlight the new Instinct LEI bow kite from Ozone. As mentioned in the link, it has a 5th line and no bridles (? - this from a bridle company). There are no pulleys anywhere... focused on giving solid bar feel a pressure. Ozone has said that these design differences will answer alot of the negitive issues currently being experienced with bow designs. I'm told that the feel and performance of the Instinct is much like a C kite with the benifits of a bow wing design. They are calling it a hybrid kite. Stay tuned for more details. Instincts will hopefully be comming available soon!!!

Hey elli - The water relanchable Frenzy slated for this spring was a closed-cell foil called the Instinct. Ozone has scraped it for the new LEI design. Currently it's still called the Instinct.elli wrote:They are also developing a water relaunhcable frenzy, which is supposed to be released earlier. I think the R&D of Flysurfer is so far ahead that its hard to catch up with them in the foil business.
