Paul I have a passat not a jetta. I can hold about 7-8 kites and a few boards.
Charlie I know that one kite will not cover everything perfect, but I want one kite that can do most things well.
The quest continues....
So.....

I have crossbows: 9,12,16.
Haven't used my 16.5/19.5 contra since I got my 16 XB.
Probably won't use a C kite again, but haven't sold them yet.
Vangelis/Evan:live2kite thought the 16 was stronger than his RRD 18 meter, but turned a little slower. I at 225 lbs dry weight was able to stay upwind at Crissy last week on a NE wind, and Vangelis couldn't on his 18, and he's a much lighter weight.
In waves, it has allowed me to make bottom turns and come back from beach toe in to meet wave, so much easier than a C kite because you can feather the strength of the pull. I don't worry about hot launch/relaunch anymore, cause you can depower it so well.
I started kiting 1998, 2 line Naish kites, F1 directional yellow board, and I think bow kites are the new "wave".
