Well, I like the idea of ranks taking into account how long you've been registered.
It's more fair to the old school guys.
However, people who have been on the forum for barely 2 years and make it to a thousand posts (like Phil) should get some sort of bonus for the frequent activity.
Plus his posts are usually more relevant than mine.
I'm just trolling around.

I am completely unfamiliar with the platform of this forum but is there an ability to create peer-to-peer feedback on content posted?

i.e. some form of Like / Rep / Badge / whatever

It would address the post quality attribute in the rankings if that is a factor that makes sense to include
