Lost Naish Bar @ Brick

Post by ventopilota » Wed Aug 10, 2011 8:10 am

Hey folks
I believe I left my 2011 Naish Bar at Brick recently. A fellow kiter mentioned that one of the Glenwood crew might have it and said it was seen sitting near the launch for a few days... ](*,)

I will gladly supply the person who returns it a case of beer! (or your favorite elixir!)

cheers!
M

Check in with Live2Kite it may have been dropped there. I've lost a bar at that spot and it was never found. Lots of dogwalkers..... I was pretty disappointed with myself, I know I left the lines fully stretched down the beach... total brainfart. I've returned lots of items from the brick and it sucks when you lose something yourself, non-returned.

Talk to Kenny H and Mark P. They may know.

I love the posts that read "Left my brand new Cabrinha 12M at the beach". Talk about a complete brainfart.

My old man calls it the mental checklist from his windsurfing days. Create a pattern to rigging and de-rigging and packing your car. That way its all muscle memory.

I last rode Brickyard on Saturday, July 30th - and saw your Naish bar. It is hidden behind the makeshift bench near the self launching log.

I bet it might still be there, unless some dog walker went up snooping aorund and decided that a one foot long piece of plastic pipe with 80m worth of string wrapped around it was worth taking home to try and find a use for it.

Right on!

I skipped out on the session and went fishing, honking out there yesterday. probably the first session I've just bagged all year. Check it.... Sharks in the bay!
