Why is Afghanistan first on the choice of country? Do they even kite there? Sorry for the narrow minded thinking but I can't get the picture of someone kiting with an AK-47 slung over their shoulder out of my head. Hey Erin, where did you get your Hyperflex amp wetsuit? Do or did they have a large selection of sizes?

Shuttles available upwind from Pittsburg and Sherman all summer. Come see what kiting west has to offer.

Thanks, I ran through all the sites linked here but kind of ran into a dead ends. I'll keep searching... as for riding I just hung around out here on the delta. Had few sessions in the east bay and a little on the coast. Just getting ready for the north winds now :).

Afghanistan must have some awesome lakes & rivers to kite because it's no where close to any waves... unless they get big wind swell like the Gorge. Avoiding IEDs while launching & landing and dodging bullets and granades while on the water puts a whole new spin on the term "survival kiting". It does seem strange that they're listed. Crazy to think about kiting there!

To bring it back the posted topic... Who sells ABoards products is northern CA? Why don't they do demo's or attend the Kite Expo? I've seen them post on other kite related forums, but I've never seen their products. Are they for real? How are the boards? They look nice and seem to be well built. I'd be down to try one out. I guess I'll have to win one in order to try it out. Wish me luck! :)

ABOARDS doesn't have a cali dealer, yet. you can find all the current dealer info on the USA website: www.ABOARDS.US

the boards are sick, and super well built snowboard style with strong wood cores.
