Airush Choptop Winner - Bay Area Local?

Got an email from Airush that a winner was selected for an Airush Choptop. They posted the name on a banner on their website, and it is a local. Please check it if you entered.

Oh, that's Thom, local Alameda foil kite rider, all around nice guy. He's got a young daughter, I think she's 11 or maybe 12 who is an upcoming kiter. She ride's a 3 meter foil kite when its low tide. Congratulations dude!

You heard right. An Alameda local won the ChopTop that was given away by Airushkiteboarding.

For those who entered the drawing and didn't win, I have a 2009 ChopTop available for demo. It's a fun board with a lot of potential in many different conditions. After several sessions on it, it doesn't look like the best down-the-line wave board, but for strapless Bay riding or on-shore OB-type conditions, it'll be great.

For real waves, I also have the highly touted 2009 6'0" Converse Wood. This thing really lives up the the hype!

Hope everyone's starting to get loosened up and back in shape. The real wind season is on our doorstep!

Hoooo... yaaaah ! The Choptop winner is here, i am enthusiastic to sit here with my dad to post this. He is the Choptop winner, we don't know when we will receive the Choptop but hope it will be at our door soon.
