Hello Kitesurfers,

Just wanted to let you know that Revingo, a leading kiteboarding equipment review site http://www.revingo.com has just launched a free Marketplace where you can buy or sell your kiteboarding products.

Please let me know what you think of the site, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Happy Kitesurfing!

Hi there,

Yes but what is cool about this site is that you can rate your gear, eBay or other sites are not able to show reviews next to their listings, and these are user-created/generated reviews. Plus, users can view all sellers for a particular item so buyers can compare prices. So no, I am not poaching at all!

This website might be useful in other parts of the country but it's mostly useless in the bay area. It's so easy to find used kites in the bay area using the local classifieds and then looking at the item in person before purchasing, which is what I would recommend to anyone buying used gear.

good point Sonny. plus how can you have confidence in the seller's rating of used gear?

My 9M is in great shape!..............considering that it has seen 145 sessions and feels like a 10 year old pair of jeans.

In the SF community, people generally know what good gear is and we have plenty of riders who turn kites over regularly, so members of this forum have no problem getting quality gear, viewed in person, for good and fair prices.

Kitouni has two posts here - one to promote that site, and one to defend it. He broke even.
