Women's Kiteboarding Camp in Bay Area?

Post by tonia » Tue Jan 13, 2009 11:04 am

Hey Ladies!!

I am running three series of All-Women kiteboarding camps in La Ventana, Baja, this February and March. The first series filled, so we added one more week.

The popularity of these camps got me thinking about doing a series in the bay area. Would there be some interest to do a women's camp somewhere in the Bay area in the summer or fall sometime? Where would be the choice location for a kiteboarding camp? I'd really like to hook up with a local school/dealer to conduct the camps. Any suggestions, interest and input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

How about a training camp for kids? Any thoughts here? Even if I gotta send him on an airplane.

Hi Ella,

That sounds good. Are you going to be in La Ventana next week? Maybe we can talk more then!

Tonia,
I would be interested in some sort of camp/gathering of women kiters. I live in Redwood City so 3rd Ave is the best for me- but I can travel to another spot if necessary. This will be my first year kiting here (preggo last season when we moved here) so it would be great for refreshing skills, learning new ones and meeting women who kite!
Keep us posted!
Thanks,
Suzanne

I would be interested in a multi-day camp in the bay area. I live in the North bay, so anything up this way would be great :P

Hi guys,

I am a new kiter in SF, I arrived here 2 months ago, and I'm waiting for the wind. I am interested to all camps available, I only need a carpooling...do you think it is going to be available?

Bye
Michela
