End-of-Season Party for Crissy Field Kitesurfers and Windsurfers Aboard The 65-foot Adventure Cat II

Ticket Proceeds will be donated to honor and support the families of four Coast Guard crew members who died in a helicopter accident during a training mission near Honolulu on September 4th.

Who: Up to 80 Crissy Field Kitesurfers and Windsurfers and their friends
When: October 19, 2008 @ 5.30PM (Sunset cruise will set sail at 5.30 PM sharp and last about 90 minutes). Please allow extra time to deal with parking and to find Gate J!
Where: Pier 39, Gate J, next to the sea lions
Price: $40 minimum donation per person (cash or check, see details below)

Details about the Fundraiser:
The owners of Adventure Cat II have generously offered to provide a sunset cruise for our Crissy Field community, at the cost of food and beverage ($15 per person), if we collect a minimum of $40 per person, and donate all proceeds in excess of the boat fee to the Coast Guard Family Disaster Relief Fund. Specifically, we are donating to the “Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund,” which provides college scholarships to the children of Coast Guard members who perish in the line of duty, with specific designation for assistance to the families of HELO-6505. (For additional information, Google: CG-6505) Please make your checks payable to either “Coast Guard Foundation” (Memo: CG-6505 Family Scholarships).

Come join your Crissy Field community to celebrate another great season of wind and friends, and to show your support for our Coast Guard. If you cannot make this event, please kindly consider making a donation in support of the Coast Guard Foundation.

C'mon you guys! I need your help. Please get a group of friends and do this thing. $25 of your $40 ticket goes directly to the Coast Guard Foundation. The remaining $15 goes to Adventure Cat to cover their food and beverage costs. This is a great cause. You'll have an awesome time with your friends. And you may meet someone new and cool.

Hi all,

The deadline to reserve your ticket for this party on Adventure Cat 2 is Tuesday morning at 9:45 am. I have to give my final count to the owner at 10 am.

We have half the boat booked. I'd love to have a full house. Kiters depend on the Coast Guard just as much as windsurfers and we have 38 windsurfers signed up and not a single kitesurfer! Please show your support for the Coast Guard and sign up today.
