Slingshot Rev II "post demo"

Post by shymac » Thu Sep 04, 2008 11:19 am

Just wanted to do a "shout out" to all the riders that had a opportunity to try out the new 2009 REV. Those were the first ones in the state and probably the only ones that had been demoed in the country so far.

As always the crew out at Sherman kick ass and i can't wait for my next trip out there! Thank you for all your support!

I had a 9,11,and 13 for demo and if any one would like to give up a review of what you thought of the kites good or bad it would be much appreciated . Hopefully this will help others to pinpoint what kite they should be looking at next.

I also had a 2009 11 and 13 Fuel and had a couple T3's out too. So what ever you rode, post what you thought!

Cheers

Chris Schey "shy" (in-house rep for Slingshot)

Ha, I see the ship has been claimed in the name of Slingshot.

So does the REV 2 say "2" on it or is that Rev 11 an eleven? Stupid question I guess but if this is the REV 2 it is hard to determine when the 11 is the only size I ever see tested. This is of course very important, I know.

That is the size of the kite. The Rev is just called the 09 REV not REV 2. Just like the FUEL, 05 FUEL,06 FUEL... 09 FUEL..ect...

REV 2 -9meter is just SICK!! Never backs up in the window  Has great de-power, loops very quick and smooth.Seems to me just a very stable kite, simple 4 line set up.The new tuning on the wing tips makes it dialed for every style of riding.I know everybody likes there style kites, but if your looking for something new give the REV2 a ride!
Another trip around the sun ?

I agree with Curt, the 9m Rev is pretty sick. Deb and I got to try these over the last two weekends and we are sold on the light bar pressure. Having no problem adjusting from the North with heavy bar pressure. Most kites do not feel right because of this. The Rev was never uncomfortable, even when unhooked. I think if you are in the market for new kites this year you should give these a try. Hope to have demo in the spring @ Sherman.

We had a great time on the kites, Shy, so thanks a bunch. Everyone like them alot...great feel, nice bar, and very stable unhooked.

Thanks for coming out!

I had the 08 T3 & now I fly the 08 Rev which I'm extremely happy with. How can I demo an 09 SS? JT (510) 846-5613
