San mateo Sunday?

Hi guys,

I'm not sure this is the right place for that, let me know if not.
Is anybody riding at san mateo/3rd av next Sunday? I'd be interested in getting a ride from palo alto, sharing the costs of course.
I'm usually kiting in nyc so I'm just discovering the area.

thanks, I already checked the local rules.
I guess I'll try to get there by bike + train this time.

Is it ok to leave my stuff (kite bag, pump and such) on or near the beach or is there a chance it gets stolen?

Also the wind is pretty much always good at 3rd during summer, right?
how about the direction, is it pretty much constant sideshore?

It should be fine if you leave it by the carpet, I never heard anyone getting their stuff stolen at upper beach either. You should hang out after kiting and meet the locals and maybe you will find a kiter who lives near you.

Yes, the wind is pretty consistent during the summer and consistently side shore. Sunday [06.06.08] is looking good.
