Hey there ladies and germs!

The North Kiteboarding team will be at Crissy Field Thursday 4/1 with all the new 08 gear. Come by and check out all the new gear and meet the North kite lead tester, international team rider and wave guru Sky Solbach and our newest young gun Jon Van Malsen.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Crissy local guidelines- welcome to Crissy !

This is a public beach.

So make shore no Spectators are downwind of you.

Put enough sand on your kite - no runaway kites.

Launching: keep kite low and proceed towards the water, no need to fly kite at 12:00, Traditionally Crissy wind is the most unsettled on the beach.

Layout lines in a uniform method, no need to lay lines over someone else.

Do not launch without your leash attached first.

No boosting on the beach.

Check your gear ñ no need for runaway kites.

Freestyle inside ANITA ROCK is discouraged, thats a courtesy to windsurfers and ingress and exit to the beach. Upwind by the trees is the preferred hucking zone if the feeling of the shoreline close by is desired.

It will be flooding this afternoon so know were last chance beach is.

Know how to self rescue and wear a winter wet suit.

Ooops, I meant that we would be at Crissy Thursday May 1st, not April 1st...

Thanks Tony for those guidelines!

Hope to see you out there!

Also note that this is a race day so be nice and stay out of the way of the racers on the course.

it was actually part of the plan to be there tonight for race night...we all raced and had a blast. Great night for a demo and for a race. Thanks to everyone who came out!

The tentative plan for tomorrow is to head to Sherman if the wind is good, we'll confirm tomorrow morning after we talk to Sandy about the forecast for the day...if not Sherman then we will be riding at 3rd or possibly Alameda, depending on the wind.

Pray for wind!!

I was at Crissy yesterday, saw the North van, but no kites or boards to try. It felt a little similar to Alameda earlier this week: only big kites in strong winds and no boards .. hmm.

Sorry, but I don't get the point of these demos if we actually can't fully try out the gear. Other brands actively encourage us to try their gear, and it makes it very tempting, even after flying North loyally for 3 years.
