Hello,
We are strongly considering moving out to SF/Stanford area from Boston and just trying to get a sense of the riding out there.
If you are in PA/Redwood City, how many days a week can you get a relatively flatwater session for wake tricks? What is 3rd Avenue like for that? Sherman Island? How far?
How far is it to get to good wave riding? Wadell, Half Moon Bay?
I greatly appreciate it. We took a little time off and have been in Brazil (Taiba) for the last 3 months so I am happy to answer any questions you have about Brazil in return.
Thank You,
MJ

Speaking of Salt Lake - Chip & I are off to Utah early am for a snowkiting weekend and event at Skyline. The snow is falling and conditions look good. Will take plenty of photos and post the details upon retun after the weekend. This is my first trip to Utah and first snowkiting foray, so should be interesting, but if you're going to go for it one owuld think there's no better place to get going on it!
See you soon.

We got in this morning and went up the summit after the drive from Salt Lake to Sklyine and a bunch of people were up there and it was windy, but no one was really out as it was still snowing pretty good and basically whiteout conditions. So we cruised (slid, no just joking) down from the summit (9500 ft) and went to goof around town a bit and stopped in to see Don, a custom boot maker, that Chip has visited before and talked to him a bit. His work is crazy good, so if you ever need custom boots, he's your man. http://walkercustomboots.com/photo.htm
Some say tomorrow could very well be epic and that I will love it. Right now, there are just some people chilling in the lodge with the fire going, wireless access and a pool table. We're doing the meal-plan and the dinner should be good. Fyi, this is the same place that Jeff Kafka at Wowkite puts his people up when they come out to snowkite.

Snow can hurt so does water
In this specific case I take the snow.

Right on Ollie, glad to hear your finally getting some snow action. I don't think people really realize how fun it is. I spend the last couple months of Fall dreaming of snow sessions. Jeff Kafka has really dialed in his program out there with two snow mobiles a new truck a great lodge and all the premium gear. Check out his new website at http://snowkiteutah.net
