Post by hmarks » Tue Jul 17, 2007 1:21 pm

Movin to Berkeley for a while, and I want to buy a kite that will let me ride for the majority of the time. I was thinkin an 8m 07 torch....mmmm, or something similar. Any input?

My girl is 140 and she rides a 10 from 12-25 no problem. But she has an 8 whci gets used in the above 25 winds. She is also riding a 140 board.

Where do you plan on riding most of the time? I'm around the same weight as you. What size board do you ride? I ride a 127cm

I rode almost everyday in SPI for a month, then went to the Yucatan for a month on the coolest kite adventure ever with my elder bros. I would say intermediate; i am just beginning to land jumps (and lovin it!) and i like to ride unhooked as much as I can. Does the bay area have mostly waves or chop?

I will be living in Berkeley for a while, so I need to explore the local spots. I ride my bros jimmy boards, a 133 and a 145, and a slingshot sx 151. I am getting a smaller, maybe girl board soon.
